My Mom had Let It Be on 8-track tape when I was a kid. 8-tracks would play on an infinite loop. I'd put it on and let it play over and over. Listening to it now always takes me back.

I've been going through a lot of crap the past year. (Really, more like the past two years.) This week we lost my beloved 18 year old cat. I just read this Phetasy news today. It's funny because "Let It Be" came on the radio in the car the other day. Over the years, I've found that this is a song that really speaks to me, especially when I'm going through something. And, it's not a song I usually seek out, it usually just comes to me when I need to hear it. Which, eerily, is was the song is about. Woah...
