I’m a history buff with a linguistics/lit degree and eventually became a psychotherapist. Chomsky hits all my buttons. Now I get why I saw him give a speech at West Point, and receive a painting by a Hudson River School artist. I also understand that we have always had these creeps. Count Dracula (made into a child cereal), Marquis de Sade, Nero and stories I heard when I was wild and crazy in DC. Power and perversion have always gone hand in hand. I don’t understand all this clutching of pearls. Power corrupts…I truly don’t get the private jets obsession. Flying first class? Oh yeah! Private jet? They crash all the time.
