This is one of the best of these letters I've read. I feel the writer so much.

Censorship used to be the bane of the political right exclusively. Now with the PC thought police, the political left has joined the fray. Both sides suck. Each side has their own mechanism for trying to tell everybody else what’s appropriate, what they can do, and what they can even think. It’s the opposite of freedom.

I can definitely relate the letter writer’s journey. I am wondering if the letter writer and other people who don’t want to vote would consider voting for an independent candidate or even a write in to send a message that we don’t the democrat or republican candidates. It’s something I am thinking about.

There is no good independent candidate options either right now IMO.

I love this. I’m also 43, but have had almost the exact opposite life experiences. I am the normie dork that has colored inside the lines most of my life, and I absolutely love hearing from people with different backgrounds than mine. There’s so many ways to end up politically homeless and I especially appreciated this one.

This rhymes with me too. I mostly track soft libertarian now because most of them still have that “live and let live” energy.

Also +1 for still saying retarded, although whatever phrase the Karens come up with next is what I will start calling my friends. “We got a real person experiencing slowness ovah hear”
