This is a very cool idea to compile these letters, Bridget! Right on.

Interesting letter (and I share the writer's politics), but not exactly politically homeless.

I think many people that once were conservative feel the party left them so in a way I can see the writer as politically homeless. Bc Trump doesn’t really fit the mold of either. At least that’s how I feel. I agree with him or her though that the left is definitely painting every white male as the Antichrist. I see it at my daughter’s school.

Either way don’t see much changing with either party

I am way left of y'all but otherwise must agree with you that whatever else may be said, this person seems to have a political home.

Signed, actually politically homeless & think we're f*cked if either major party wins.

Not entirely sure about RFKJ either but think he's clearly the best option, fwiw

This person clearly is not "politically homeless," nor have they ever been. You could make a case for someone who has switched parties repeatedly (like Trump, ironically), or who was "homeless" for a long period before finding a place with one party or another. But a lifelong Republican whose main concern is stopping the Left, "due to a crusade against the Christian White Male?" No.

I actually understand his or her position. I was a Democrat until Obama’s second term. I always voted to the left and believed they were the party of the people. Unfortunately over the years I started to see that most of their platforms could be summed up in platitudes. So I stopped voting for party and began listening the person.

I voted for Trump in 2016 but not in 2020. I didn’t vote but I guess in a way I did. I dislike Trump but despise Biden. So might be another year of sitting out.

“Democrats are working to destroy his opportunities due to a crusade against the Christian white male.”

This perception explains everything. He’s partially correct. Democrats oppose white male patriarchy, racism, Christian nationalism, intolerance, and most of what he stands for. It’s not a war against the white Christian male. But it is a war against everything he stands for.

You seem to have proven the authors point. Not sure if it’s a he or a she. But I have daughters and you can clearly see they are being inundated with anti white male rhetoric. I almost have to remind them monthly that the majority of the men they know are good decent people. And that some of the worst are their female friends.

The author doesn’t separate his identity from his politics. Democrats oppose his politics, point by point. That’s a reality. And they should because the things he stands for are abhorrent. His friends are also likely white male protestant racist intolerant patriarchal has beens from a previous era. Therefore, in his mind, he believes a Democrats are against all white males. He doesn’t make the distinction between his unique and awful set of attitudes, and that of all white males. White males like him are not the majority and they are not the future. There are plenty of white males who vote Democrat, because they believe the opposite of what he believes.

You clearly are the reason the author votes the way they do. Good Luck because your rhetoric is why you lose many suburban women. I know many of my friends who voted for Trump precisely because of myopically ignorant views such as yours. They are mothers to sons and vote in their interest. Btw this author sounds like a woman. How many men work in the fashion industry in Europe. So she is the vote you want.
