Covid responses in California radicalized me. Been registered Independent since 2000 for the same reasons. I've sometimes voted L, sometimes D or R, sometimes just wrote someone in, based on the issues important for the country and me at the time. But now there aren't even any viable 3rd party options or people to write in that haven't endorsed Trump. At this point voting for him wouldn't matter in CA, but I'm disaffected enough to just thumb my nose at the 'don't worry, be happy' dementicrats.
