"I do understand RFK's decision to use the time he has left to be as effective as possible in increasing the health of our children. I do think that is important and the most logical decision for him to have made. I just really, really, REALLY was hoping for a change in the political landscape and I'm concerned that the hope for that will disappear after another four years of whatever you call the current landscape." Yup. That resonates for me totally.

In general I very much agree with what was said in that letter. I absolutely do not support present-day Democrats and will not vote for Harris, but I refuse to follow the "lesser evil" paradigm and vote for Trump. Actually, the fact that so many who support Trump have the tendency to illogically, hypocritically, blindly, and arrogantly defend Trump (I would call this TDS: Trump DoesNoWrong Syndrome) only make me feel more confident in my inclination to not vote, period. Frankly, I find it very odd and off-putting that so many in the anti-COVID vaccine / "medical freedom" movement (including RFK Jr.) are now cozying up to Trump (father of Operation Warp Speed who said in 2023 that he saved 100 million lives) and spewing the "Trump is a great guy who cares about us" nonsense. Oh please.

Trump would have been damned no matter what he did with Covid. The media and Fauci scared people to death, and Fauci became this God- like figure. Just seeing how the Democrats have treated RFK Jr tells me everything I need to know.
