America gets so much hate these days, not just from other countries, or from the media, but from its own citizens. I feel like we’re always hearing people complain about what a terrible country we’re living in and I’m sick of it! I’ve traveled all over the world and I still kiss the ground when I get back to America.
So, in honor of the upcoming 4th July–our actual NO KINGS day–a day we celebrate America’s independence, I’ve decided to talk about why I love America. Tonight in lieu of a guest I’m reading a speech my Grandfather gave in 1963 on Veteran’s Day, and then I’ll be talking to our audience.
What do you love about America? For instance, I love our roads, our ice cubes and air conditioning. I love our national parks. I love freedom of speech, and freedom be dumbasses, because that’s truly what freedom is. Freedom to be a dumbass.
