Easy for everyone to blame Trump for the divisiveness in our country because of his personality. It happened long before that; Obama becoming anti police, starting with the Trayvon Martin story, he also described people from certain parts of the country as gun toting, bible carrying folks. Instead of Hilary Clinton trying to convince people to vote for her she called them a basket full of deplorables! The media was more than happy to participate in spreading the message.
Bridget mentioned on one of her recent Dumpster Fire episodes the mistake of setting quotas for ICE and I agree. If you set quotas, it means that ICE teams will be more likely to deport the ones who are simply here trying to make a living and are contributing. Most Americans want a path to citizenship for people and that is something only Congress can do. And yet members of Congress know they will be attacked on the right and left for setting stricter rules, shutting down the border crossings, creating a path to citizenship for many of those who are here illegally currently, etc.
