She's wrong on the trans bathroom bill. You have two competing interests. One of them is women including young women and children. The other is people with mental problems. Why did NC vote for Trump? Because of this.
As soon as she dismissed her opponent's bathroom bill, I stopped listening. Even if gerrymandering is fixed, you bet I'd vote against her. I'd make sure I get to the voting booth to keep her out of elected offices. Someone who thinks man are entitled to intrude into women's bathrooms and private places is not someone grounded in facts and cannot be trusted to understand reality.
Very interesting thing. Canada kinda side stepped this issue by creating an independent non-partisan body to run the elections. It generally does pretty well.
