Wonderful! I especially liked the image of our faces being smooshed against the glass of Heaven - and I certainly hope not hell. At least I think of it as, we all want to be there so bad - we have our faces pressed against the glass, and yet we struggle with what we need to do to make sure that is our final destination. Great imagery. Lastly, I think I need to pick your brain for quotes when I need one. You always seem to have just the right one. I'm going to make sure that one from Rumi is written down in my notebook.
Reminds me of a poem, though I'll never see one as lovely as a tree ..., or a couplet that stated, more or less, "I could be bound in a walnut shell and count myself king of infinite space -- were it not that I have bad dreams".
Meant to comment on Bridget's post about Kimmel though -- having champagne tastes and only beer money, wasn't able to do so -- but quite agree that Kimmel isn't much of a martyr. "Oh the horror!
