Also appreciated Lorenzo Warby’s recent, “Left-Progressivism’s Three Foundational Falsehoods”: https://open.substack.com/pub/lorenzofromoz/p/left-progressivisms-three-foundational?r=3rav05&utm_medium=ios

Helpful for getting arms around the scale and scope of the ‘Critical Theory Magisterium’ nut-nut and seeing it for the civilizational wrecking ball that it is. Especially appreciated the embedded talk on Queer Theory (The War on Normal) given by Logan Lancing at the last Genspect conference.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I hadn't heard about this one. I'll dive into it.

Lancing co- wrote “The Queering of the American Child” https://www.amazon.com/Queering-American-Child-Religious-Poisons-ebook/dp/B0CSKPK45D with James Lindsay (of Grievance Studies fame and books like “Cynical Theories). It’s the rabbit hole none of us asked to be in, but wherever we go, there we are.

Nice gram yall... So guess what books aren't available at my local library? Shriver's new one isn't but I might give them grace as it is brand new... but Nisbet's book ought to be there. I put in a title request but have no hope they will purchase it.... in which case I will try to get it myself.

That's weird. Is Irreversible the book they don't have? Or her new one, which is also fantastic.

Good on you for using the library btw

A Better Life isn't available to request .... typically a new item is available to request a hold regardless of newness, for example they don't have the "One Battle After Another" DVD yet but I can request it. The difficult part for me is, the library director is a friendly acquaintance, and I am getting close to openly criticizing their policies... I can find any number of LBGTQ+ titles but conservative-oriented media, not so much.
