This is a great question that didn't quite get to a satisfying point in this episode, but it's still a great watch, as are all things Phetasy.
Where I think Democrats lost young men was their lack of care in molding the outcome of feminist studies departments in universities. The key hook to keeping young men, specifically our libido, was lost when those isolated feedback chambers produced a product labeling everything truly male as toxic, especially our sex drive. The combination of promoting free sex and a lack of consequences (abortion) was more than the GOP was willing to offer. So, if he wasn't a libertarian ideology or deeply (truly) religious, chances are free pussy was more than enough to win him over.
Bottom line: They can win back young men, but Democrat thought leaders will have to be very manipulative of feminist thought leaders to bend their university echo chambers back to a place of empowering women instead of identifying possible sources of victimization.
I think it's a question we will keep coming back to. The purpose of the show isn't to necessarily answer the questions but hear from the people. Thank you for tuning in!!! Speak up next time!
I totally understand. It took the Dems 60 years to dig the hole they're in, and I doubt we could list all the major f-ups in about an hour. I wanted to hear what unhoused Democrats had to say about the situation and offer my unwelcome-at-home GOP opinion sometime later.
Trust me, I'll call as soon as I can be coherent talking to you. Nothing kills a show like crappie callers.
