This is a good letter - except for one thing. The media has misled the public into thinking elections are about "issues" when they are actually supposed to be about representation, and in the case of the presidency, who can most effectively manage the (massive) Federal government. This country jumped the rails when politicians made elections about "issues" starting with the abolition of slavery. Of course, strong national government controlled by a few is the position of the 1848ers, particularly those who followed Marx and Engels.
I’ll say what I always say to this, it’s not a left right thing. It’s an establishment antiestablishment thing. Also ESG DEI was pushed by corporate power and spread through their media. Adding a more inclusive face to corporate power was used to shut up those critical. Divide and conquer
