I hear you. I'm a Never Trumper, but no fan of Kamala. I am of the opinion that the left has gone too far, especially in our home state of California, where we'll be voting Republican this time. I guess they call me a double-hater, but it's not my fault we're not provided with good options. The problem is the two-party system, but we're kind of in a stalemate with that since neither party can afford to split unless the other party does so as well.
Almost 60 years old, Politically Independent 20+ years. Born in NYC, raised in NJ, now in CA since 2013. Still amazed at the nationwide Trump Derangement Syndrome, as his type was pretty typical of NYC in the '80s and '90s. I'd been a double-hater, but the Dems have gone so far, so fast and so deep that they've become what they've always hated and made Trump...sympathetic. No alternative in the 3rd parties are any less crazed or more sympathetic, so I'll be overriding my gag reflex and voting for him. If I leave the Presidential box unchecked CA will probably just toss my ballot. Grrrrrr.
Politicly Homeless letter #111 of 9/1/24 and 9/11/24 is the singular clearest, most concise letter describing why you better get off the fence because, like it or not, one of these two clowns will define U.S. policy for the next for years, and God help you and everyone else if you don’t vote against the worse candidate. Stop obsessing about the lack of a good to great candidate, and focus on voting against the terrible candidate.
