Former Politically Homeless letter writer here... I feel your pain.
Please consider voting third party or write-in for president rather than not voting. Right now it's safe for either side to ignore the politically homeless if they pull the lever for the lesser of two evils. But, if the number of people who vote "other" keeps growing, eventually they (dimwitted as they are...both sides that is) will begin to acknowledge that there is a ripe opportunity for those who want more centrist candidates and policies. Polls have indicated for several years that a majority of Americans are dissatisfied with both candidates. Imagine, if you will, if even 20% of the electorate voted "other". Maybe the parties, like they always used to, will once again play for the center voters instead of catering to the extremes in their parties. I understand if someone in a "battleground" state feels the need to vote for one of the two losers since their vote could very well make a difference. However, IMHO everyone in a "safe" electoral state who is dissatisfied with the current political candidates and parties, please vote "other" this election. That is really the only way your vote could possibly have any real impact...as long as enough of us do it.
That would be a great idea under normal circumstances, but there's not much of an option this year. If you're genuinely a small government conservative, the LP would typically be your refuge until they nominated a liberal loon. Conservative Party is the Military Industrial Complex wing of TDS, with no real agenda other than being as big an embarrassment as Trump. The Greens are a total non-starter.
Unddervoting is seen by the parties, even if they don't talk about it. The public only sees it if your state codifies it, but trust me, the parties see it. Good luck getting candidates or voters in primaries to care.

Trump obsession dead give away
This article sounds like it came from a liberal masquerading as a conservative
I think it is important to vote for someone who hasn’t taken republican and democratic money so that is what I will do till someone assassinates me.
Sincerely,
Drama James
Very well said. I believe he is the lesser evil, but he still too evil for me
