I feel exactly the same as the author of this letter. Exactly. And after the Dems disqualified Shapiro for being Jewish, I decided to vote for Trump/Vance.

When it comes to my politics these days, it's "Don't Ask/Don't Tell."

I’m with you! Started out D as all family and friends were. Have been registered independent for a few decades, would vote D, R, L or write-in depending on the candidates, issues and current events. I’ve never felt more politically homeless. Everywhere I turn is more lying and derangement, and I can’t trust most ‘news’ sources. (I do like Matt Taibbi and Walter Kirn.) But I learned during the first Obama run not to even voice doubts about his experience with family. No way can I voice doubts or fears about Harris now with friends or family. Can’t find many Trump fan with concerns as not many Trump people in the CA Bay Area are willing to admit it in public. - Politically Homeless #49

It's so disturbing how increasingly we can't talk to people - even people we love - about our views. Everything has become starkly black & white, with nuance out the window. There are so many elephants in the room everywhere these days, it's almost all elephant. (I'm Canadian, so I can't vote in the U.S. election. I'd vote for RFK Jr., no contest.)
