When was the first time you felt like a grown up (if ever)?

What does it mean to feel like a grown up? Is it living alone? Jeren said the first time he felt like a grown up was when he got his first apartment. Is it having a pet? When you leave for college? When you graduate? Do you feel like a grown up if you lose a parent and have to become the man or woman of the house? Whatever it is, it seems like the feeling of being a grown up comes with ever increasing responsibility.
