I’m sentimentally attached to it, but it’s also a painful reminder of what a dumbass I am.
Write about a piece of furniture.
I don’t really consider a piano a piece of furniture—it’s an instrument—but because of it’s size and the reasonable ordeal it is to move, it behaves like a piece of furniture. In fact, it’s even worse than furniture. Most people end up giving their piano away rather than figuring out how to move it.
Which is what I will be doing with my Chickering piano; leaving it here with a friend, a brilliant composer and musician. I’m sentimentally attached to it, but it’s also a painful reminder of what a dumbass I am.
