One Sunday about eight years ago, a friend asked me if I wanted to go to her friend’s house in East Los Angeles for his weekly meditation.
“Why not?” I said, enthusiastically. It was early in my sobriety and I was up for an adventure.
Her friend happened to be 90s dance music icon, Moby.
