Merry Christmas to Bridget and Cousin Maggie. Sadly discovered I am allergic to tahini.
Plurbius is on my short list to watch. We will be looking for something now that Stranger Things is done.
I get the whole Harry Potter thing. My wife did not want to read back when it came out because if you can believe it the church was against it. Little did we know back than in the simpler times how trite and silly that was.
My obsessions right now
1) Stephen Wilson Jr. Anyone Gen X who loves grunge and loves country music should listen to his music.
2) my dogs getting to hug them everyday now that the kids are out of the house
I guess that you didn't like The Ref (1994) for top three Christmas movie of all time, like I suggested FIVE TIMES! (That "five times" hear in my best Bridget humor-screaming voice.)
For 2025 (actually late 2024), that I saw in the theater three times: A Complete Unknown with Timothée Chalamet. I liked Bob Dylan, didn't love him... This movie, though, was perfection, start to finish. In that order. Thank you, Bridget and Maggie for keeping us sane, laughing and dancing while the world burns for all these excellent years.
That is really great advice on the Bean juice whatever it's called. I'm 55 years old and I just discovered how essential it is to use pasta water in order to emulsify pasta sauces. I was just create the perfect sauce create the perfect pasta and then dump the sauce on the pasta. I didn't understand the pasta water I didn't understand the emulsification process I didn't understand that al dente is in order to allow more cooking time when you're integrating the pasta through emulsification. I wish I had known. Now it's time for me to dust off my immersion blender for my Bean juice delicious salad dressings. Mahalo and I love your show. Oh I almost forgot: Merry Christmas! Happy holidays! Melekalikimaka!
