Bridget, you have kept us (me) going. In the sea of insanity, you bring clarity. A comfort of knowing “I am not alone” The substack thread is a long family (Pham) text that reads like siblings agreeing or not. Glimpse of our lives, tho all strangers is a comfort. We are different in beliefs & how we grew up, but still Pham. I (we) Thank you. (And of course, cousin Maggie… that laugh gets me every time) 💓

Hi there! to my favorite mouthy broad! Keep doing just what you’re doing, sending out laughs and the occasional prompt to think a second time. I’m starting to introduce my wife to your stuff, might be able to get approved for a $ sub one of these days soon!

Bridget you bring what is sorely lacking in much of that independent media you speak of....self-awareness AND humor. To get through much of the ridiculousness in the news cycles this is the only place to get that. Don't get me wrong I appreciate your commentary, but the art you bring to it...thank you! I'll take "mouthy broad" any day

Aw shucks! Thanks for the thanks! You’ve been a great comical source for current events for me. Many times the way you view something is new a view for me. Keep on plugging. We’re here for it all!!

i hate trump and wish he would die (i know we get that creep JD but at least we lose the trump family - brainless the 2nd, 3rd and 4th can die too. maybe a big plane crash huh. Melania would be cool but she'd have to be in the same state as the mango and his family of con artists) but you are the best. Here's to a great 2026!

Thank you, Bridget, for this honest and humble reflection. I came for the laughter; I stayed for the common-sense questioning and the threads of clarity that you and members of this community so often voice in your own unique ways. I no longer have any interest in the word “grifter”—it’s become just another term of petty resentment, like “privilege.” People whose main talking points revolve around grievance and envy simply don’t hold my attention anymore. Although I am hesitant to use the word authentic since that is a word too frequently used by those who have to consonantly tell you they are authentic, thank you for being authentic.

Nothing on the Internet or on any other so-called medium brings the laughs and thoughtful on-target commentary as DF. I have found myself frequently quoting Dumpster Fire in conversations. We are your faithful sycophants.

Well, I might not always agree but I do enjoy your work. The Dumpsterfire videos are funny but also enjoyed many of the walk in videos. So thank you!

Anyone who can make a "mean sourdough" can't be all bad. 😉🙂

But skimming your post reminded me of a classic post from Larry Sanger -- co-founder of Wikipedia-- on "Internet Silos" you might have some interest in:

Just a note. I rewatched Dumpster Fire 1. At the beginning when you give the date, you didn’t include the year. Just month and day. It’s weird that I have been watching since then. Keep up the good work and remember to add the year on the dates.🦄🕺🌎🔥

Bridget - your honesty and humor has helped me more than you can possibly know. Thank you for all you’ve done to make me laugh through some of the most ridiculous things happening in the world today. But as much as the laughter is needed, you make me seriously think through a lot of it as well. I am grateful for you and your team (special thanks to my friend Kevin for recommending your work to me).

Man, that is about the NICEST Thanksgiving post I ever read!!! "Right" back at you! 🤣 (I know, leave the jokes to the woman who knows what she is doing.) I keep 5 podcasts in my que from "the right"; 5 from "the left" and then YOUR creative stuff is in my top 10 "sanity holders". (The 2 that I can access are #1 & 2). So, there is that....and though I am poor; I am so, so, so GRATEFUL for those 2. I would be SO MUCH more crazy if I didn't have you keeping me "level". (You and all your amazing people...I have a goal of someday meeting Maggie in person...and you, of course♥️) Please keep being the creative content that could. 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
