I'm going to do my best to post something old or new everyday.  Do my best.  I say this from the bottom of my heart and I’m sorry to the loyal readers constantly let down by PHETASY's sporadic ways.  If I had all the time in the world, I would post 3 times a day.  But I don’t. 

I realized recently when reconnecting with some old high school friends that I write a lot of stuff, but no one really knows what I do, or what I am doing when I am not letting off steam on PHETASY.

When I'm not trying to rid my brain of whatever idea is currently torturing it, I work with autistic kids and teach yoga. For obvious privacy reasons it is impossible for me to write about this work.  I can tell you this:  I work all the effin' time.  I work 7 days/week.  And with the exception of 1 precious morning (this one-Monday), I am up at 6:30 and don't get done until at least 7pm. It's truly a miracle I get as much writing done as I do.  And not such a shock that I don't have a social life or a boyfriend.

There is however, another industry I have more than enough to say about: Hollywood.  Taking a cue from our fearless leader Obama, I vow to be more transparent and forthcoming about my trials and tribulations out here playing the game. I have been very quiet about my adventures in showbiz and now with some time and perspective, it's high time I start opening up.  Oh the tales I will tell...

And just so you know loyal readers (all 2 of you), a plethora of ideas currently tortures me:

1 Feature Film
1 Hour-Long Dramedy
2 Half-Hour Comedies
1 Web-Series
1 Comic Book Series (in development)
1 Self-Help Book
50 pages of my first Novel
2 parts of what will be a 4 part erotica series
10 Mockumercials/Sketches

All of these ideas are named, WRITTEN and literally just kickin’ it on my hard drive.  Shhh…don’t tell Hollywood.  They think I just have a script.  I wish I could tell you about all of them, because I love the above ideas as much as I heart PHETASY, but for obvious "everyone's a thief in Hollywood" reasons, I have to keep my lips sealed.  I've even had successful writer friends scold me for posting on this site because they say I'm giving good stuff away.  I have 4 things to say to that:

1. Only 2 people read Phetasy.
2. You can only keep what you give away and I have more than enough to give.
3. If I stop posting on PHETASY, I will go crazy.
4. Who says this is my good stuff?

As for shifting into video, well there is A LOT more of that coming to PHETASY too.  Clearly, I have a lot of ideas.  And obviously, I don’t have that much time on my hands.  Thank God VOR does.  So she will be in charge of editing up these projects, while I bust through yet another first draft.

Hopefully one day you will get to see all of it.  And if you don’t, well, we can always do what we did with our South Park…

The work I do with the teens and with yoga is the most important work I'll do on this planet anyway.  As far as writing goes, my quest is to write and that is all.  I am unexplainably driven to put words to the page and create entire worlds. My friend and I always joke about how great our lives would be if we didn't feel that urge to write in our free time; we would just be chillin' by a pool instead of holed up in front of our computers.  But I have no relief until the idea is grounded.  That relief comes almost the minute I finish a first draft.  Then comes the gritty work.  Then comes the polish.  And anything that comes after that...is just gravy.
