THIS is my favorite poem that I wrote
5/17/09
Take a bow and start to entertain
make the audience laugh while you are crying or smiling
become the characters of old legends and dance with your silver fan
move to the rhythm of the crowds tears and claps
make the audience move at your will and liking
become their master
order them to smile, laugh, and cry
make them do your bidding for they are your servants
and you their lord and god
take another bow and once again become the normal actor you started out to be
and as the audience leaves the wooden chairs that made them servants
you sigh and wait until the next performance
