Ghostface Killah - The Big Doe Rehab
Tony Starks a.k.a Ghostface Killah has done it again. Back with a follow up to his so-so release earlier in 2007 More Fish which really should have been an album for his entourage instead of being labeled a GFK album. Nevertheless, Pretty Toney has delivered a monster for Def Jam and the Carter Administration (President Shawn Carter). The Big Doe Rehab has some real grit and anger from Staten Island’s favorite son. With songs like The Barrel Brothers, featuring the fresh-out-of-jail Beanie Sigel and Styles P (formally of the LOX), as well as a classic storybook-style track Yolanda's House, featuring Wu-Tang brothers, Method Man and Raekwon. This album was very much needed in the hip-hop community. With so much "hip-pop" as of late, it’s nice to hear that classic 90's rap sound. Thanks Tony we needed this.
