Hi,

John here, the guy you gave a bunch of your cards to at Fred 62's in
Los Feliz a couple days ago. I realize it's entirely possible that this
description doesn't really narrow things down for you, but just wanted
to say hey and tell you I really liked the cards and your site. It's
pretty awesome how you're just creating everyday without real concern
for the results. Seems like it's paying off in an amazingly satisfying
way for you. Also nice that the spiritual and the wise-assedly worldly
co-exist so effortlessly, as it should be. Word to you brainchild. Hope
things continue to go well and you sell tons of shit for the holidays.
By the way, your "Valentineless" mix looks like any one of my
"Commonplace Driving Mixes". (That's not what I call them.) Never
realized they were an issue until I kept hearing "Dude, everything
alright?" from anyone who drove with me. See you around, keep up all
the good stuff,

John F.

Dear John,
That's my favorite way to start a letter.
Of course I remember you, you were the only guy sitting at the counter with us that day (except for that weird guy on our left). Not only do I remember you, I also remember that you ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a bagel with cream cheese, which I thought was odd.
For the record, my "lack of concern for real results" actually stems from a stubborn refusal to adhere to the laws of commerce, but I'm glad Phetasy has that "bohemian mystique" about it.
Yes, Phetasy is amazingly satisfying, but other than that--Phetasy ain't payin' for shit. (But that's not surprising considering I was giving away my merch in a diner.) Too bad Phetasy isn't paying the heating bill--VOR and I are freezing our asses off here in California!!!
Glad you GET THE PHET. (The newly coined rallying cry by the way.)
Word to you John F.
Thanks for the sales wishes, but we here at Phetasy prefer to give our Ultra-Super-Secret-Limited-Edition-Cards-You-Can-Only-Get-From-Us-In-Person, away around the holidays. (FYI: the printing we have is the ONLY printing we are EVER going to do of those particular cards.)
Please send Phetasy a "Commonplace Driving Mix." (And please call it that.)

Much love,
The Boss
