Walking thru Washington Square Park the other day (and for the most part everyday), every single pseudo-introverted girl was wearing the same thing… it was like a sea of knee-high leather boots with a pair of tights and a ¾ length military wool jacket. There were the odd Lisa Lobe look-a-likes with their Oxford ankle boots (if you don’t know what those are then that just means I’m a lot less heterosexual then you are) and fake Dior dresses they got at Zara…where being anorexic is not good enough you must be European as well. The best part is, the Jamaican dudes still chase them into the West Village with their weed salespitch…. And don’t get me started on the guys… These kids are going to have to have a tailor sew their denim on them just to save them from embarrassment at the next Black Lips concert (they kick ass - but their following is a bit over the top, they pay $190 for a haircut and then wear clothes they found at the heroin detox lost and found…). Now this is just the NYU kids… we have a whole city to discuss…. More Coming Soon...
